New Arrivals: Featuring Black Sparrow Press
Black Sparrow Press was founded in 1966 by John Martin. His wife, Barbara Martin, designed all the iconic book covers and spines, and together they mastered the craft of turning brilliant books of literature and poetry into equally brilliant published artifacts.
Black Sparrow books are beautiful additions to any collector's library of literature, experimental prose and poetry. John Martin sold Black Sparrow's backlist to David R. Godine and ECCO Press in 2002. Black Sparrow Press books are sought worldwide by collectors of fine small press publications.
